Intuitive Eating: Creating a Healthy Relationship with Food, Mind and Body

Understanding the Research and Applying the Principles

Program Overview:

In today's world, countless people face a dieting dilemma. Numerous weight-loss plans claim to be "the best" and consumers eagerly try them to slim down once and for all. However, many achieve short-term success at best and the dieting cycle continues. But, according to one revolutionary approach, there’s a better path to weight management and a healthy attitude toward food.

Intuitive Eating advocates shedding the diet mentality, making peace with food, and returning to an inborn intuitive way of eating. The approach can help free people from constant dieting, living by rigid "food rules," and using food as an emotional coping tool rather than to satisfy hunger.

Join Intuitive Eating pioneer, Evelyn Tribole, MS, RD, to explore the research and principals behind this "non-dieting" approach. Intuitive Eating teaches people to create a healthy relationship with food, mind and body, distinguish between physical and emotional feelings, respond to inner body cues, and experience satisfying eating.
